Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every year I am blessed with an amazing group of Kindergarten students. They arrive each day with their smiling faces. They love math, sharing, learning their letter names, letter sounds, singing, art, writing, and listening to stories. They are creative and love to share their ideas! My students are ready to learn new things and excited to be in school. Their enthusiasm for learning is so contagious!

My Project

My students will have the opportunity to learn about a garden and how to care for it. They will be able to see how easy gardening can be as they participate in planting, watering, and harvesting what they have planted. They will also see how a garden can make the world so beautiful.

They will learn about life science and what is needed to keep plants alive.

We will also be painting rocks for the garden to add beauty. We will create a path of creatively painted rocks that will show the talents of our students.
