My Project

As my sixth graders prepare to leave elementary school and begin a new chapter in middle school, I want to give them a creative experiences they'll never forget. This glow-in-the-dark art project will be more than another lesson-- it will be a celebration of their growth, creativity, and accomplishments over the past seven years.

With canvases, fluorescent paints, paintbrushes, and black lights, my students will create vibrant works of art that transform under ultraviolet light.

They will experiment with color, contrast, and creative expression while learning new artistic techniques in an exciting and engaging environment.

For many of my students, this will be their first opportunity to create art on canvas and experience the magic of glow-in-the-dark painting. At the end of the project, we'll turn our art room into glowing gallery where students can celebrate their finished masterpieces together before they move on to middle school.

This project will give every student a lasting memory of their final weeks in elementary school-- a celebration filled with creativity, confidence, laughter, and pride. Your support will help make this special milestone one they will remember for years to come.
