My students come from a very low socioeconomic area. We are a title one school with a high percentage of free and reduced lunch population. Most of my students do not have access to technology in their home. This places them at a disadvantage in the age of technology in which we live. I want my students to have the opportunity to work with technology on a daily basis. But as covid has effected the students over the last year and a half, they need the opportunity to experience hands on materials and projects as well as utilizing technology.
My Project
The Chart paper will provide great canvases for strategies and facts that the students can utilize by referencing throughout the school year.
The astro brite papers and colored markers are efffective for improving reading and helping students who have sensitivity to fluorescent and bright lights.
They can help make reading easier, faster and reduce distortions or discomfort while reading.
Though we use techology in the classroom we still need access to the pencils and paper. The Electric pencil sharpens will help keep the students supplied while reducing the mess created by hand held sharpeners.
