Our Favorite Books Are Tattered and Torn

My Students
Our library's copies of students' favorite books are literally falling apart, held together with tape and simply can't be repaired anymore. Help us buy new copies of Junie B. Jones, Judy Moody and Magic Treehouse books so that we can enjoy our favorite books.
We are a charter school in Texas, and our students come from all walks of life. However, many of our students come from low economic families and do not have access to books other than from our school library. Our students really enjoy coming to the library, and love checking out new books.
My Project
These are among the most popular books in our library. Junie B. Jones is enjoyed by all of students, boys and girls alike, Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. Our students also enjoy nonfiction books, and the companion books to the Magic Treehouse series is guaranteed to fly off the shelves as soon as they are in! By reading these highly entertaining series, our students reading scores will increase. By reading books they enjoy, they will know that reading is a pleasant pastime, not just a chore.
Our library is small and the fiction section is rather dated. The average age of the collection is more than 15 years. Many of the materials are donated, and are in need of replacement. Nothing changes the look and feel of a library than the excitement of receiving brand new books! I am hoping this is just the beginning of a library makeover at our school.
