Being able to provide balancing and jumping activities that students can complete in the classroom when they become disregulated cuts down on classroom interruptions and helps keep all students learning. Social emotional tools such as calm down tubes and timers provide students a visual tool to calm down and return to learning quickly after they have become upset.
