Our Environment - More Than the Naked Eye

My students need a camera and microscopes to replenish what was lost in the tornado last year which destroyed almost the entire school.

My Students

Our students have witnessed natural disasters and are eager to learn more about the world around them. This learning includes the items that can't be seen with the naked eye as well.

The students are eager learners and are excited as we watch the construction of ours school and begin to work with recycling, reusing, composting and other projects to protect our new building.

We have various methods of learning about our environment face to face but the students deserve to learn about the microscopic underlying divisions of our world.

My Project

By helping my students achieve the next step in learning, donors who contribute to this project can rest assured that their time and interest will be appreciated not only by the administration and teachers but the students and their families. The ongoing process of learning can only be increased if the students constantly feel challenged.

This project is important to our students in many ways but most importantly, the students deserve the best equipment and resources possible.

I have requested a digital microscope so the students all have the opportunity to see the items we are studying at one time. I also included student microscopes so that the students also have the opportunity to learn to use microscopes.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
