Help me give my students high interest items (Anxiety Sensory Stickers Fidget Textured Strips, Jolly Rancher Hard Candy, Party Favors for Kids) to refill our classroom store!
My sweet students work hard to earn classroom money. They earn it by following our PBIS school wide rules and expectations. Once a month the money is used to purchase items from our classroom store. The items I include are items that the students express interest in.
Students are much more motivated to earn and spend their money if they have items of high interest available.
The items of most interest at the moment include blue jolly ranchers, desk pets and accessories and fidgets. I have also included some calming strips and stickers because I know my students will enjoy and benefit from. Students can quietly run their fingers on the strips to fidget in a non-distracting way. The class money system is also valuable because it helps students learn about money and how saving and spending work. Students are working on math skills counting and spending their money. It is a great added bonus to help support student learning. I am looking forward to filling the class store and support my students. Thank you for your help!
