Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested bean bag chairs will help make our reading area one students will be excited to sit and do their independent reading. We are also requesting book marks, stickers and highlighters. The more students read the more they learn about the world around them. Being a good reader also helps students with their writing skills. These two skills go hand in hand and being good readers and writers helps with students academic success not just at the elementary level but throughout their an academic life. Because these two skills are so important I am requesting writing spacers as well as reading line keepers and some much needed rewards for my scholars .
