This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The little artists at our school are passionate about creating art! They explore all types of media and want to learn more about watercolor painting. Painting with watercolor paint is special because they have a soothing, rhythmic quality that helps students focus and relax. It also promotes problem-solving and experimentation as colors blend, spread, and sometimes behave unpredictably. Students learn to adapt, make creative choices, and see "mistakes" as opportunities.
I would love for our little artists to experience great quality watercolor paints, so they can express themselves with the magic of watercolors.
The fluid nature of the paint helps them express ideas and feelings that words sometimes cannot. They would love the opportunity to explore the beauty and wonder of watercolor painting!
