Three-quarters of the students at my school receive free or reduced lunch. My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge even with the obstacles they face daily.
They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My kids need Osmo Genius Kits to help them build their math fluency and develop their spelling, phonics, and reading skills. Three-fourths of my 2nd graders are reading below grade level. They needed engaging activities to motivate them, as well as, increase their Reading skills. The Osmos will be used in my Literacy Station as a hands-on phonics activity, and in my Math Stations as a hands-on Numerical Fluency activity. The Osmos will allow my students to physical play while learning and receive real-time feedback! By donating to our project, you will help improve my student's reading and math skills and help carry our learning into the technology world.
