Students need opportunities to deviated from the traditional seating. This will provide them choices to seat and focus. My students exhibit many off task behaviors. They have difficulties seating still. I often find them with feet in chair or standing.I purchased 1 stool from another teacher and used it with the most hyper kid and it just work miracles for him. He is now able to focus. He likes that he can get up and write and sit back down and is not forces to sit still. The stool was light weight and the students is able to freely wiggle. My students need stools for flexible sating to help them focus.
