My Students

I see a variety of students throughout my day with varying special needs. These include autism, cerebral palsy, dysgraphia, intellectual disabilities, and more. What these students may lack in physical or cognitive capacity, they make up for with kindness and determination. They power through their struggles every day to try their best!

These students can better succeed with additional supports.

We are in a very rural district where 80% of the children here are from low-income families and receive extra support from the school. They are doing their part every day by showing up to school with a good attitude, ready to learn and succeed! Now we must create an environment that will allow them to succeed!

My Project

We are requesting Osmo games for engaging learning in our classroom. Osmo games provide learning opportunities through technology that allow us to work on foundational skills, such as fine motor and visual motor skills, necessary for academic learning.

The Osmo requires the use of an Apple iPad.

We are requesting items necessary to protect the iPad we want so that it will not be battered and broken by the daily use. These items will go to primarily low income students who have limited technology use and opportunities outside of school. These will provide them an opportunity to meet their goals using innovative technology.
