Help me give my students the colorful organizational and behavioral support tools that they need as we prepare to return fully in person!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Knight's classroom raised $484

My Students
I work with an amazing group of resilient, funny, and engaging students ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade. Many of my students receive special education services. Most come from a community that is equally as amazing and resilient but struggles with the typical challenges of any underserved neighborhood. Our kids come from mixed family systems of all types, shapes, and sizes.
The students who come through my door are referred for behavioral and mental health concerns, including ADHD, anger outbursts, anxiety, depression, abuse, and severe trauma histories.
I use a variety of evidence-based methods to provide clinical treatment in order to improve both academic progress and overall well-being. Part of my interventions include providing students with the skills and tools that they need to be successful in the classroom.
My Project
My students respond really well to colorful organization and behavior support tools - these range from coping skills wheels to personalized visual schedules to individual desk reminders. This also includes classroom and hallway posters and reminders.
Students thrive on structure and I want to help wherever I can!
As we prepare to return to school in person, I want to make sure all of their tools are new, colorful, and last all year. I would like to build on previous projects by replacing color ink to print fresh materials, and by getting new Cricut vinyl and cardstock to identify and label anything they might need. A cart to organize materials is also essential so that I can move them around with ease. Many of our students will be returning to school in person for the first time in eighteen months and I want to do whatever I can to make the transition successful.
