My Project

I teach groups of students with dyslexia in the elementary setting. I use a lot of papers and materials with all my groups, and to save paper, I like to bind materials into organized journals that can be reused with all my groups. Having organized materials in the classroom improves students' learning experiences overall as it helps the students focus on the lesson at hand instead of searching for papers, saves time in our lessons, increases our group's productivity, and helps the students to see and learn organizational skills.

Help me create an organized and structured classroom setting for my dyslexic groups by providing this spiral binding machine!

Research has proven that students in structured, organized classrooms demonstrate more on-task behavior and higher academic achievement. Many people with dyslexia struggle with organizational skills, so they need excellent examples of organization to learn from, making it even more important in my dyslexia classroom.
