This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
It is so important to be organized and stay organized, as well as to be responsible for our own work and this exactly what I have been teaching my students!
My students come from low-income communities.
They come from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds from all over San Francisco and the Bay Area. The majority of our students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program. They are very curious little ones that love to learn and discover.
My Project
My students need a Mobile Student Work Organizer. I have had a Student Work Organizer for my students that was passed down by another teacher but now it is coming apart because it is made out of cardboard. This new Mobile Student Work Organizer is made of hardwood which means it will last a longer period of time than the one we had. This Mobile Student Work Organizer will keep my students organized and will continue for them to be responsible for their classroom work. Plus, it will last for many students!

Being organized and responsible are so important for any person to succeed in their future and when they are in college. Especially, when they are in college where they don't have their parents to help with these two things.
