Organizing and Stability for 4th Grade Wonders!

My Students

I’m new to this school and students and so far they’ve had an interesting year. They started in classes of 35 until I was hired so I’ll be spending a lot of time with community building, social justice, getting into curriculum, and starting to open my classroom library. The neighborhood is wonderful and students strive in our school. I want to give them the best opportunity and stability as the first part of the year was a little unsteady for them.

My Project

The paper holders will be used as mailboxes for student work to be sent home along with important papers. Students work better when everything is in one place to grab daily or weekly. The teacher organizer will help me with having materials and lessons planned daily for smooth transitions between subjects, or in an emergency situation, if a sub is needed. This also teaches students organization, and the executive functions needed to learn in 4th grade. Developmentally, organization and predictability is truly taught and mastered in 4th grade to continue to be that way in years to come! Please help my students succeed!
