My students need a place to hang their backpacks and stools that store under our lab tables.

My Students
This will be my 4th year at Twin Peaks Middle School and my 14th year teaching. The students at my school are wonderful. I love that my students are curious, creative and fun, but I don't always have the funding to do the exciting projects that I would love to do with them. I am excited to say that next year I will be teaching all 6th grade science (in the past I taught math and science). I try to make everyday in my science room a fun, hands-on, learning experience for my students. From labs, to stations, to dissections my students love every minute of it (and so do I) and that is my goal- to make them live science!
My Project
As a science teacher, my classroom is very interactive. Students are rarely in their seats. They are usually moving around to stations or pairing themselves up for projects.
My classes have between 32-36 students in them.
While my lab is a decent size, when you add 36 students, 36 backpacks and 36 chairs it is nearly impossible to move around. Currently I have mostly chairs with backs on them in my classroom. This posses a problem because students cannot push them in all the way and therefore not only does it cause the room to be cluttered, but they are not able to lean over the tables well to really see what they are doing.
Additionally, I built an outdoor structure for them to hang their backpacks on to reduce the clutter in the classroom, but I do not have the hardware (the hooks) to install for them to actually hang the backpacks on.
