My Students
My students are a diverse group combined with special needs and ESL students and many grade levels so they learn a lot from each other. They are ready to learn the material; they're very strong-minded and determined. They have a lot going on in their lives and need the structure of the class to keep them organized. They are very energetic and inquisitive so the idea of them learning to code is exciting and a new adventure for them. Many of them love to test their abilities in something new.
My Project
Currently, students are losing the handouts or leaving on the table and come back to find them missing. As a result I end up making more copies using more paper in the building to print them for my class. Students will then use the excuse I lost my paper to excuse uncompleted assignments. In the class room students could benefit from a sense of ownership with their materials. To stay consistent with them where the students have quick access to their information they need their folder.
My students need folders for their handouts that give valuable information should be saved and organized for each activity in coding projects.
This will help students in the end to store, and remember materials.
