The reading material will educate my students on other technologies in a simple and accessible way. I plan to engage students in a different way of viewing technology as a way to solve daily problems and to enhance life. Technology is more than playing video games. The books on coding can introduce students to computer language used to solve problems. Requested titles include Switch On, Switch Off, Web Design for Kids, Secrets and Sequences, The Magic School Bus and the Electric Field Trip, and Coding Games in Scratch. I also want students to see the engineering process of creating and building projects. The books are meant to inspire girls and boys in computer science and understand how it works in our lives and maybe one day learn a new skill.
