My Students

My students are amazing! I teach in a 5th-grade public elementary school. I am on the English side of a Chinese Immersion program meaning I have 2 sets of students with 30 in each class. Each student is so fun and enthusiastic about learning. My students are inquisitive which gives me the opportunity to provide deep learning experiences to help get their questions answered. They love reading, creating, and growing together as a classroom community.

My Project

COVID-19 has brought a lot of distress and anxiety to students and teachers around the globe. My goal is for students to come into a well organized classroom and leave their anxiety and stressors at the door.

Specifically, the chair pockets and binders will help the students keep their desks organized and have what they need, easy to find.

The 12 drawer storage container, caddies, and photo cases will help the students know exactly where to find materials they may need with minimal stress.

The students thrive when they are able to earn rewards and play games. Specifically, the games, stickers, and prizes will help raise the moral in the classroom! Thank you for helping me make my classroom a safe haven for these 60 students.
