My Project

Early Elementary classrooms are filled with manipulatives and learning materials to support students in their learning journey. Effectively teaching young learners requires any number of learning materials to engage students in different ways. These materials can either take over the shelves of a classroom and lead to chaos and disorder, or they can be well organized in a kid-friendly way to aid in student learning.

An organized classroom puts students at the center of the learning that takes place in those 4 walls.

This project is asking for storage bins, storage pouches, labels, and book bins to house our most used manipulatives. They will be stored in easily accessible spots in the classroom for students to guide their own learning and practice responsibility in caring for their items. These small changes in our classroom will bring about big returns as we spend more time learning rather than digging for materials.
