My Students

My full-day kindergarten students in Las Vegas, Nevada are full of energy and excitement about learning! My students love the hands-on learning experiences in kindergarten. They love participating in literacy and math centers, singing songs, and learning to write.

Kindergarten is such a critical year of education and I strive to meet the educational and social-emotional needs of all my students.

My classroom is filled with students of diverse backgrounds and cultures. My goal is that each student leaves my classroom with a love of learning!

I love seeing how much my students can achieve throughout the year. Seeing them have their "a-ha" moments about learning will never get old!

My Project

My kindergarten students are currently virtual, but once we go back into the classroom, this mailbox will be extremely helpful to sort and organize student work. Mailboxes in the classroom are such an important part of the school-home connection, and this organizer will give my students the opportunity to take home their hard work to show their families.

Organization is an important skill for students to learn in kindergarten, and this mailbox is one way that they will develop this skill.

Each student will have a compartment to store their work throughout the week, so that they can take home their finished work and materials. This will also be used to send important communication home to families. Your help on this project is very appreciated!
