My Students

My classroom is part of a school located in the ruale part of Oklahoma. Ada is filled with a variety of diverse individuals with bright and intelligent minds. Each child in my class is unique and shows a great determination and fortitude to keep learning everyday. No matter the obstacles they may encounter they persevere. I am greatly blessed to be able to spend everyday with these minds that are our future. Even though my children have personal obstacles they deal with everyday, they always have the motivation to become something in this world. They love to read and learn new things by collaborating with their peers. In this class we do a lot of be collaboration and peer interaction. The students are always ready and willing to learn, create, and proactive.

My Project

This cart will help my amazing group of First Graders have the tools to keep them organized and responsible. These bins will replace the inside of a desk. My kiddos are very active and need a flexible form of seating. With this flexible seating we lose our ability to store our things because a traditional desk is not always their seating choice for the day. This cart will help with the responsibility of keeping our classroom clean and organized, while allowing students to choose the best learning space for them. These first graders are ready to take responsibility for themselves amd their learning.
