Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All the materials will be used to label and organize the bins for students to be able to grab their supplies and start their center. The labels will be created with pictures for students to find the supplies needed. I will laminate the labels and attach them using the velcro dots. The glue sticks will be used to attach their name tags to their individualized bins so they can be located quickly. When students finish their center they can tape their work to their reading or math interactive notebooks.

At this point of the year, I want my students to become independent that is why I want to create a supplies corner for students to find the tools and materials they need to work on their reading or math center for the day.
