My Project

My students are a vibrant and curious group of learners who are eager to explore and grow. They thrive on routine and structure, which helps them feel safe and confident in our classroom. Our classroom is a collaborative space where students move between small groups, individual work, and whole-class instruction throughout the day. We are building a community of independent learners who take pride in their work and their classroom environment.

Our classroom is a hub of activity!

Throughout the day, students are constantly turning in assignments, collecting materials for group work, and rotating through learning centers. Currently, we use a variety of makeshift containers, which often leads to misplaced papers, confusion about where to put completed work, and a general sense of disorganization.

I am requesting a set of durable, colorful storage baskets to create a clear and intuitive system for our classroom. These baskets will serve three primary purposes:

Turn-In Bins: Dedicated baskets for each subject or period will ensure that student work is collected efficiently and neatly. No more lost homework or crumpled worksheets!

Learning Centers: Baskets will organize materials for our hands-on learning centers, making it easy for students to find what they need and put it back when they are done. This fosters student independence and a sense of ownership over their learning.

Small Group Materials: I will use some of the baskets to store materials for small group instruction, such as manipulatives, dry-erase boards, and guided reading books. This will streamline our transitions and maximize our instructional time.

By providing these simple but effective storage solutions, you will be directly contributing to a more organized, calm, and productive learning environment for my students. A tidy classroom helps students focus on what matters most: learning.
