Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our art classroom has no closets, shelves, or storage area. Having bins and buckets to help students keep materials organized and contained has a direct effect on student learning, because an orderly classroom allows students to focus on creating and learning. I teach my students to care for their materials and to treat them with respect. I am requesting these bins to hold markers and other craft supplies. Having a routine for supply care and organization gives students a sense of responsibility and ownership over their space. I really appreciate your consideration!
