Organize and Create

Help me give my students behind the chair storage for organizing materials, paint and canvases to create works of art, and blank books to write their own story.

My Students

I teach the English side of two DLI, dual language immersion, classes. The students in my classes are studying Portuguese for half of their day and come to my class for instruction in English.

My students are eager to learn, and enjoy being engaged in a variety of ways.

They are curious, enthusiastic, and creative. They like being challenged, and like to work together in a cooperative environment.

My Project

The back of the chair storage will allow my students to have a place to store their computers and headphones. Having this will save time. Learning time is so important to an efficient and effective classroom.

Blank books will allow my students an opportunity to create their own story.

We are spending a lot of time on writing, as many students need extra support in this area since COVID. These books will motivate them in their writing.

Creativity in art is good for both academic and social-emotional learning. It is a great way to extend academic learning, and provides a chance for kids to explore their creativity through paint on canvas.
