Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Technology now a days has become a necessity rather than a luxury, and in the classroom, this is not the exception.
My students come from economically challenged households and most often, the only encounter with technology is at school- so why deprive them from that possibility?
Our Title I students are identified as being economically disadvantaged, at risk, and English Language Learners. Unfortunately, they just underwent the aftermath of a recent hurricane in our area. Some of them lost everything, others were fortunate enough and didn't. Despite these challenges, their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn has not been shaken. Everyday, our leaders use technology to expand their knowledge and continue affirmative in their education.
My Project
The items in this list will allow me to better support my students in the classroom. They will utilize the materials to continue their learning and accomplish their goals. The folders will be used to keep their class work organized, which can be easily accessible. In addition, some of my students have a hard time holding the pencil right. This causes them to have unreadable handwriting.
I want to provide them with the opportunity to succeed and feel more confident in themselves.
I want to also reward their accomplishments and motivate them to participate more. The treasure chest prizes will be their incentive for their hard work.
