The iPad will be used in a variety of way during the reading and writing small group intervention. I will use the iPad to model, display, and engage the students while teaching certain skills and concepts in both reading and writing. Students will also be able utilize and access reading initiative programs including MyOn, Accelerated Reader, and Istation, as well as other appropriately district selected apps for intervention. They will be able to record themselves read a story, work on phonics, vocabulary, writing, and even monitor their own reading and writing progress. This allows them to become more independent and accountable for their own progress.

About my class
