My students are awesome! They come from diverse backgrounds, ready to learn and soak up new experiences. Although our school is in a rural community, we have a diverse population of students, many of whom are new to our country and learning English.
My classroom is a place where kids can learn and have fun regardless of their differences or needs.
Throughout the school year, we work hard to improve academically, socially, and emotionally, building relationships within the community.
The supplies provided through this project are basic necessities used daily in class, some of which students wouldn't have otherwise. We focus on writing and reading strategies in our classroom. While we take good care of our materials, some require replenishing.
Providing basic supplies allows for a more productive, less stressful environment. Items like pens, markers, folders, and markers are greatly needed. Students will appreciate and utilize these supplies, setting them up for success in all classes. Providing a pencil to a student at the start of their day encourages continuous work throughout the day.
