Organization Needed!

Help me give my students an organized classroom. We have begun a new reading program, which requires many center materials. I need a space to organize them better in the classroom.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am teaching first grade this year and my first grade classroom is made up of wonderful, talented students.

Many of my students are from bilingual households and share their culture with us every day in the classroom.

All my students receive free breakfast and lunch due to their socioeconomic status.

My students' needs are very diverse and I would like to reach them in any way possible. I believe that giving them time in a daily listening center will help to increase their reading and listening skills.

Research shows that whether you are low-income or not, mindset is a bigger predictor of success than academic skills, and how students gain great academic skills and persevere in the face of challenges.

My Project

We started a new reading program at our school. The program requires a lot of center materials. I am looking for carts and drawers to help me organize their centers. This will help the students accomplish all of their tasks when they are in their centers.

Our school will also be using a new math program next year.

The organization materials I have requested, Storage Trolley, Desktop Storage, Literacy Management Chart and Rolling Shelf cart, will help me keep all of their math materials organized as well.

I want to provide an organized space for my students so that they can thrive and find all of their materials as easily as possible.
