Many of my students do not hear the English Language at home and a listening center would give them the opportunity to hear the English Language everyday. My students do not have access to these materials at home and they would be able to use the books to increase their fluency as well. My students vary greatly in their literacy needs and a listening center would provide many of my students with the ability to hear and read literacy everyday. This listening center would be used during daily reading centers and would provide the students with independent reading time. This will help them to increase their literacy skills. Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen. – Winston Churchill
