Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a case manager of our special education department I believe organization is key! Our students enjoy learning all subjects across the curriculum, and they rely on manipulatives used in the classroom daily to aid in their learning, including an array of sensory items. We have many materials that can assist them with this, now only need the storage to help keep it organized and easily accessible to them.

I want our students to be able to learn in a caring and warm environment and to benefit from the structure of an organized classroom.

Having the storage space in our classroom will allow our students to both access and put away materials more efficiently. An organized classroom will help to foster an environment better suited for learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
