My Project

Everyone knows a chaotic environment ensues chaos. If the teacher is organized then most often the students are. Classroom environments are essential to the students learning. They need to be fun, loving, calm, but most of all organized.

It is critical to be able to have hands-on materials, like organization bins for the manipulatives the students use.

These kinds of tools are perfect learning tools for little hands when they are just starting out their educational career.

In addition to creating a space full of developmentally appropriate tools for my students, I also want to be able to create a level of independence in my students.

The storage boxes will help with that independence. An organizational system will be created for the students so they are easily able to access the classroom materials without hassle and stress. The boxes are easy to open, which is necessary for kindergarten-sized hands. Manipulatives in neat and organized containers will help teach the kids to keep their learning environment neat while encouraging them to store and care for their materials.

Binders will help with keeping classwork organized and sorted into subject area instead of crushed or crumpled in the desk.
