My Students

In my 4th grade advanced content class, I teach math, science, and social studies. It is an environment where students engage in critical thinking activities and hands-on learning projects. Our school is composed of about 700 students from a very diverse military and rural community. Our small town is uniquely situated between two military bases: Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart US Army.

Students come into my classroom motivated and eager to learn.

I feel very blessed to teach students who have a hunger for learning and are easily motivated.

My Project

My students need supplies to help them easily organize their personal supplies and the math and science centers in the classroom. When students are organized, they can quickly access the tools they need to be successful, and more time can be spent on learning. Students need chair storage pockets so they can have room to organize their personal supplies and a variety of storage containers with removable drawers that will make materials and supplies easily accessible and allow centers to be moved around the classroom quickly.

Organization skills are life skills, and I hope my students will carry these skills with them for the rest of their lives.
