My Students
I teach 22 amazing and adorable Kindergarten scholars. They enter the classroom with big smiles, happy and ready to learn. Many students come to our school who do not speak English.
We are a magnet Title I school serving 65% low-income families who speak limited English.
My students come to school excited about learning. Our school also serves parents who work two jobs to help make ends meet. I would like to teach my scholars how to be organized and independent learners.
My Project
Organization is key to young minds. Kindergarten students have a difficult time keeping things together. Their book bags are full and many times they do not know how to work independently.
I want to increase my students learning by implementing new learning stations.
Students will use the storage bins to keep their center work organized daily. The expo markers will be placed in there bins to use for writing. The pencils will be used throughout the day. Students will learn how to write simple sentences .
Please help me teach my students how to be independent learners and stay organized.
