Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a first-year teacher in third grade. I started out with a classroom filled with broken binders of papers from years before me. I have taught these students during my student teaching in first grade and long-term subbed for the same students in second grade. Now I get the privilege to be their third-grade teacher. I have a diverse group of learners with various learning needs including several students with individual learning plans.
Please help me get basic classroom organization supplies like binders to store copies of center record sheets, reading and math intervention worksheets and more for students to find easier.
School organization is key to a stress free way of learning. These materials are needed and appreciated by my students. So many of my students have a hard time keeping their materials organized which then takes away for instruction time trying to find what they need. I want to provide supplies for the students who cannot afford them to help with keeping their items easy to access when needed.
As always, I want to include that I will always have children who learn on different ability levels and will be working with them in our inclusive classroom!
