Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our students are first-generation American, full of hope and passion for discovering and learning new skills every day.
Our students work very hard as they are learning English through, Math, Language Arts and the Arts and Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts in Spanish, their native language. Our main purpose is to help our students achieve at the same rate as students who are not at risk.

Our students need assistance with organization.
We teach this skill in our grade level. It is a skill that they can use for a lifetime. Our classrooms are in need of an organizational cart for our students to organize their supplies to have enough room to have flexible seating. These organizational carts will help minimize clutter. We have learned that our students work better through flexible seating.
The supplies will also help to set up the classroom structure so they are able to have an organizational system within the class to know where things are.!
