My Project

Every year in Oregon, students grade 3 to 5 can participate in "O.B.O.B." or (The Oregon Battle of the Books) competition. Students make teams of 4 or 5 and together make sure that they have read 16 books to answer questions to compete for top team in the school, then district, and finally state.

Children in grades 3 to 5 in Oregon can participate in The Oregon Battle of the Books competition to encourage them to read up to 16 fantastic stories.

This project is asking for 3 sets of these books to add to our school library. Then they can be shared by all students in the school (especially those in 3 to 5).

Our school is grossly underfunded. There is a freeze on all purchases, including books for the library. Our students deserve great books and the ability to compete againest other schools in Oregon. Please help them challenge themselves and read/discuss really good books.

I have several book projects for our library. Please help the others if you are looking for more book request projects.
