My Project

These stem bin materials will provide my first grade students with countless hours of hands-on fun exploring magnetism up close and personal The vast array of magnetic tiles, cubes, balls, wands and chips will bring to life the fact that there are forces at work in the physical world that are not visible to the human eye. This will lead students to engage in exciting experimentation and numerous attempts at construction and design that are compatible with the unique qualities of this force. The bins themselves will provide the ideal place in which to keep materials well organized and easily accessible to the children.
