Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
During the summer our campus gets quite lonely, leaving our garden abandoned. We are needing support to amplify our materials and supplies to support our children's curiosity in the garden area. We will be teaching children about life cycles, engage in outdoor play, and learn about caring and growing plants. With these materials we can plant seeds and use learning opportunities through gardening. This lesson plan will last about 5-8 weeks and will be a long term project so children can see before and after life cycles of plants, insects, and vegetables in real time.
