This year was the first year I was given the opportunity and introduced to Donors Choose. This year is also my first that I was able to teach a wonderful group of students, STEM. It has been a wonderful experience. This summer I was given the wonderful opportunity to continue to teach my students STEM. Donors Choose has helped my class tremendously, in the past with this class. Giving them the projects and materials we need to expand our minds. I am working on my summer schedule, in hopes to use these materials, to give our students a chance to enjoy and build their summer with a great experience. Our children look forward to summer school. The snacks and prizes are a beautiful incentive to help feed their growth and also to help ease the mind during our fun projects. Our goal is to teach our students exactly what STEM is-Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics. Being able to work all these wonderful areas, through hands on experiments, blows the kids minds, and keeps them very much entertained and wanting to learn more. We are very limited on such supplies and with this help, the frustrations of wanting more for our children becomes less of a burden. Heals my heart to want more and more for our children. STEM is a wonderful program and for our young future endeavors. I am very honored to be able to be the person picked to teach it. Our students age ranges from 3rd to 5th grade making them very vulnerable to many wonderful opportunities through this program. To be able to watch them succeed, with excitement through my program makes me so proud to be able to teach STEM. Help me, help my students make the best of our summer fun STEM program.
