This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our title-1 school, many of our students face unique challenges, but they deserve every opportunity to excel in their education. For our 5th graders, this marks the first year where science takes center stage as a "main" subject. To ensure they receive a comprehensive science education and are well-prepared for middle school, I'm committed to providing them with transformative learning experiences.

With your support, I can offer our at-risk students the chance to experience science in ways they've never before imagined.

By incorporating hands-on activities, labs, and explorations using the requested resources, I aim to make science come alive for them. These experiences will not only deepen their understanding of scientific concepts but also foster a love for learning and exploration.

Together, we can empower these young minds to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, setting them on a path to success in both science and beyond.
