Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The need to fuel up our students for the day is important. I work in a very low-income area. Students often come to school hungry and can not focus on learning. Our students are eager learners and hunger affects their academic growth.

My project aims to give healthy snack breaks, treats, game time, and small incentives.

The goal of this project is to help build self-confidence and academic growth. Poverty is a growing and important problem in the world today. The youth is most affected by this growing epidemic. We must realize that the needs of the whole child are important.
