My students are creative, compassionate, energized, and full of questions! They absolutely love playing games, reading books, and being creative. They are a very active group that love to get up and move around.
Our classroom is part of a small rural school district that loves to support each other in a family centered atmosphere.

My Project
All of the students in my class love learning. Having space in our room that allows movement as well as comfortable seating gives students the opportunity to interact with each other while having enough personal space. In kindergarten my students are learning how to regulate their feelings, bodies, and minds in order to learn in a classroom setting. When students are provided with the proper space to do these things they are more likely to be successful.
Imagine trying to learn in a space where you feel crowded or you feel left out because there is not enough room for you on the carpet.
