This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hi! I love my students with all of me. Our county is a poverty-stricken community. Most children don't have internet access. These children are also in homes being raised by their grandparents and its more than three or four children ranging in different ages and they aren't getting the attention needed. They are some of the brightest and smartest children I have ever came in contact with. The problem is we are very low on cleaning supplies with the high Covid numbers that are rising daily. Many of these parents do not have jobs! Over half of my children did not even bring one school supply. Please, please, please help us. We also need crayons, pencils, and erasers to do their reading and writing activities to help them prepare for their 3rd grade placement test.
Please help me to keep my babies safe with cleaning supplies and help them to continue their growth process this 3rd grade year.
My Project
My children would be overjoyed about these supplies especially the cleaning supplies because they are so very concerned about the cleanliness of their classroom. Many live with or have a grandparent in house with them and they are very concerned about their health. Many of them come with mask dirty and worn out and our supplies are just low all together. They need pencil, erasers, and crayons also to complete writing prompts that's preparing them for their end of the year 3rd grade placement test. Please help my sweet babies.
