Developing young minds can be challenging in today's society. This is why I choose the smallest mind to teach Ga. Pre-K. I am not just an educator, I am an advocate and these babies are my drive and passion. Every day is a new day in my classroom and there is never a dull moment. Each moment is used as teachable moments and every minute counts. These babies come in with the weight of the world on their shoulders. But they do not allow adverse situations to hold them back from learning. Each day they push forward, ready to learn and embark on a new journey.
Seeing their smiling faces and their drive to learn pushes me to be better and keeping going...
I am privileged to know them and be part of their development and answer a million questions that seem to have with no end. Implementing tablets as a tool to engage the students interest in developing their understanding of technology. They are our future; they are Presidents, Lawyers, Doctors, and even Educators.
Empowering these young minds with tablets to a new way of learning has proven with the right tools new connections can be made. As our young people grow up in a world surrounded by technology many of them lack the understanding of the effectiveness of this powerful tool. My goal is to help these young minds to explore this ever-changing world. Could you imagine the new connections that these little minds will make? The development of higher-order thinking questions that generate new thoughts, and inspire. Let us prepare these minds to lead the future and make a positive change for their world.
