Open Spaces For Better Learning

My Project

The students in my new classroom are very excited each day to come in and learn new things. The love to read and play in the dramatic play area. The rug in our Library/ circle time area is very small and it is very hard to it all of us in so that we can enjoy reading and felt board stories together comfortably. Comparably the rug in our Dramatic play area is small and round and does not cover the area.

Circle time is a very important time of the day where children learn social skills, cognitive skills, language skills and much more.

We recently received materials from donors choose to make our circle times more interactive and it would be great to open up the area with a larger rug so that we can comfortable enjoy this time.

Dramatic play is important for social skills, language skills, cognitive skills and pretend play helps children learn about themselves and the world.
