Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My first grade students are full of energy, questions, and creativity. They enjoy every story you tell them. You can see it in their eyes, life connections and overall enthusiasm. They express themselves better through their hands, what they create from a drawing to a spaceship built with Legos.
My students are full of curiosity and it is my wish to inspire and guide them always to dream and wonder.
My students amaze me every day, and they deserve all we can do for them.
My Project
We are planning to make different projects that we will be displaying during Open House, including a friendship project, women that change history, animal, and poem projects. The construction paper will be used to display each project and the small easel I will use it to work with small groups guiding and supporting my students in their reading and writing for each project. All your help and support will be greatly appreciated by my students and me. Our need for school supplies is a continuous need with all the creativity our students possess and wish to share it with their friends, family and the community.
