Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is a dual language class where both English and Spanish are taught throughout the content areas. I wish to add a variety of bilingual kids' magazines to our class library.I believe that having a variety of bilingual kids' magazines in our class library will not only encourage my students to read more but also help them strengthen their language skills in both English and Spanish. It will also expose them to different cultures and perspectives, fostering a more inclusive and diverse learning environment. I am excited to see how these resources will benefit my students and support their language development.

I am looking to include magazines such as TIME for Kids and Let's Find Out in both English and Spanish that will encourage my students' interests and expand their knowledge.

The Science Art and Drawing Games for Kids book is a fantastic addition to my classroom library, as it combines creativity with science education in a hands-on way. Engaging in drawing and creating projects to learn about science will encourage my students' curiosity and make learning enjoyable.

Equipping my students with pencils, folders, and clipboards for their daily activities will help them stay organized and engaged in their learning. The clipboards, in particular, can be a versatile tool for various activities, whether done individually or in groups.
